Our
office is open Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. -
5:30 p.m. If you require emergency care after the office
is closed, you can reach one of our physicians by
calling 543-9600. If you feel your problem needs
immediate attention, please go to the nearest hospital
emergency room. A physician on duty will examine you and
will contact one of our physicians regarding your care.
Appointments:
You
may call our office to schedule an appointment.
Appointments are generally scheduled three to four days
in advance. However, if you have an urgent problem that
requires immediate attention, we will do our best to
schedule your appointment within 24 hours. Please
provide the scheduler with as many details as possible
when you call, so we may schedule your time
appropriately. If you need to cancel or re-schedule an
appointment, please give us 24 hours notice. This will
allow us to utilize your reserved time for a patient who
may need to be seen on an urgent basis.

Insurance:
El
Paso Surgical Associates, P.A. participates with most
PPO's, HMO's and insurance carriers. If your insurance
plan requires an authorization for a referral to our
physicians, you will need to obtain it prior to your
appointment with us. If you do not have medical
insurance, our medical staff will be happy to discuss
payment arrangements with you.
Surgery:
When
a decision for surgery is made, you will be fully
informed by both the physician and our scheduling staff
as to what to expect and how to prepare for the
procedure. Should you have any question in reference to
the risks, benefits or options related to your surgery,
your physician will be happy to talk them over with you.

*It is
important to bring this referral/authorization
with you. Should you forget to bring a paper
copy of the Referral, there may be a delay in
your scheduled appointment time or your
appointment may need to be rescheduled.

over-the-counter or prescribed.
